  • Write the title of your book and the pages your group read on the top line. In your group, discuss and complete the following on your own binder paper! Be prepared for a spokesperson for your group to share.
    1. Name and describe one of the main characters so far.
    2. List and define three new words that you need to know to help you understand the text.
    3. Choose one significant quote. Copy it exactly as it appears in the story and the page number it is on. Respond to the quote; I wonder..., This makes me think…, this makes me feel...., I was surprised that…, I predict…, This is important to the story because…., This confused me because I do not understand.....
